What is Endo-friendly Skincare?

At Same Skincare, we make endo-friendly skincare, tailored for women with endometriosis, like our founder, who often faced skin irritation and inflammation.  Our "Endo-friendly" approach focuses on creating products that support skin health without aggravating existing conditions liek endometriosis, which is linked to inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and heightened sensitivity. Our products are  gentle and non-irritating, devoid of harsh chemicals, fragrances, and dyes and feature certified organic botanical ingredients like niacinamide, zinc oxide, aloe vera, and green tea extract, known for their anti-inflammatory properties. We ensure our products are non-comedogenic to prevent pore blockages and acne, common in endometriosis due to hormonal fluctuations. Additionally, our formulas are free from Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) and hormones, like parabens, which may worsen endometriosis symptoms. We use all-natural, hydrating and barrier-repairing ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid and marula oil, alongside a minimal ingredient list. At Same Skincare, we aim to minimize the risk of irritation and allergic reactions, offering a safer, more comfortable skincare routine for those with endometriosis.

Our Endo-friendly Skincare Manifesto:

1. Gentle and Non-Irritating: Our products are free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, and dyes that can irritate sensitive skin. We make gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and other products designed for sensitive skin.

2. Anti-inflammatory Ingredients: Our products contain ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory properties, such as niacinamide, zinc oxide, aloe vera, green tea extract, and other botanicals, which can help soothe and calm irritated skin.

3. Non-comedogenic: Our products do not clog pores or exacerbate acne, which can be a concern for endo warriors, due to the hormonal imbalances associated with endometriosis.

4. EDC and Hormone-Free: Our products do not contain Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals or other ingredients that can mimic hormones, such as parabens and certain types of sunscreens, as they can exacerbate endometriosis symptoms.

5. Hydrating and Barrier-Repairing: We use hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and all natural oils, which can help maintain the skin's moisture barrier, preventing dryness and irritation.

6. Minimal Ingredients: Our products are made with a shorter list of ingredients and are less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions, making them more suitable for sensitive skin that is common with Endo.
